39 Shore Road Ashland MA Real Estate Just Sold

Ashland MA Real Estate ~ Just Sold 39 Shore Road Ashland Massachusetts. Listed at $184,900 and sold at $130,000  by Bill Gassett RE/MAX Executive Realty. Closed on October 7, 2009.

39 Shore Road Ashland Massachusetts

This Ashland Massachusetts home was certainly what you would describe as a "fixer upper" or "handyman special".

After going through a home inspection it was discovered that the home had a structural issue as well as old termite damage. This is the reason why you see such a disparate difference between the list and sale price for the property. The new owner is a building contractor who is willing to deal with the issues.

The attraction with this Shore Road home is the neighborhood in which it is located. The Shore Road subdivision has an excellent location on the Ashland/Framingham town line. There is a nice blend of colonial's, cape's, ranches and split levels in this well kept Ashland neighborhood.

This particular home had a total of six rooms, three bedrooms and one full bath. There was approximately 1236 square feet. The lot is .36 acres.

While this home did need quite a bit of work, the neighborhood certainly supports a complete renovation or even a tear down.

The property was a great opportunity for a contractor to come and take a home in need of a lot of work and make something out of it. These are the kind of opportunities that investors love!

A special thanks goes out to Active Rain Real Estate member Jay Mcgillicuddy at Prudential Verani Real Estate in NH who referred this listing to me.

39 Shore Road Ashland Massachusetts Real Estate

Ashland MA Real Estate ~ Just listed 39 Shore Road Ashland Massachusetts. Listed at $184,900. Listed by Bill Gassett RE/MAX Executive Realty. *** Update - this home sold on October 7, 2009 for $130,000. ***

This Ashland Massachusetts home is certainly what you would describe as a "fixer upper" or "handyman special". The attraction with this property is the neighborhood which it is located in. The Shore Road subdivision has an excellent location on the Ashland/Framingham town line. There is a nice blend of colonial's, cape's, ranches and split levels in this well kept Ashland neighborhood.

There are a total of six rooms, three bedrooms and one full bath. The home has approximately 1236 square feet. The lot is .36 acres.

While the home does need quite a bit of work, the neighborhood supports a complete renovation or even a tear down.

The property represents a great opportunity for a 1st time buyer to get into a single family home for short money as it is very hard to find a home in a neighborhood setting for under 200k.

A special thanks goes out to Active Rain Real Estate member Jay Mcgillicuddy at Prudential Verani Real Estate in NH who referred this listing to me.
