In June of 2010 there were 18 homes that closed within the month for Hopkinton Massachusetts. This is an increase of 4 units, as there were 14 homes that closed in June of 2009.

The Average list price for the homes that closed in Hopkinton for June of 2009 was $562,107

The Average list price for the homes that closed in Hopkinton for June of 2010 was $619,600

The Average sale price for the homes that closed in Hopkinton for June of 2009 was $539,357

The Average sale price for the homes that closed in Hopkinton for June of 2010 was $601,911

The Average Market time for the homes that closed in Hopkinton in June of 2009 was 119 days.

The Average Market time for the homes that closed in Hopkinton June of 2010 was 133 days.

 

10 homes went under agreement in Hopkinton Massachusetts in the month of June . The average list price of the homes that went under agreement was $554,320. The average time on the market for these Hopkinton homes were 79 days.

 

             January - December 2008 & 2009 Market Statistics for Hopkinton Massachusetts

 

In Hopkinton MA for the period of January to December of 2008 there were 130 properties sold.

In Hopkinton MA for the period of January to December 2009 there were 150 properties sold.

In Hopkinton MA for the period of January to December in 2008 the average list price was $617,750 the average sale price was $594,511 and the average market time was 131 days.

In Hopkinton MA for the period of January to December in 2009 the average list price was $528,945 the average sale price was $511,107 and the average time on the market was 114 days.

In comparing year over year longer term data for Hopkinton Massachusetts, there was still a downward movement in home values as compared to previous years. The rate at which home values are dropping seems to have stabilized quite a bit, especially in the lower price points of the market. The average days on the market for a home has dropped and inventory levels remained stable throughout the year.

There was an increase of 20 sales in Hopkinton in 2009 v.s 2008!

The Average list price for the homes that closed in Hopkinton for May of 2010 was $498,006

The Average sale price for the homes that closed in Hopkinton for May of 2009 was $460,808

The Average sale price for the homes that closed in Hopkinton for May of 2010 was $490,477

The Average Market time for the homes that closed in Hopkinton in May of 2009 was 106 days.

The Average Market time for the homes that closed in Hopkinton May of 2010 was 148 days.

This home at 97 Front Street was the kind of property that is difficult to find for Hopkinton Massachusetts! The home is located near the town center and is set on a well treed lot with plenty of privacy. Some of the excellent features that made this property so appealing were the numerous recent upgrades like a new Maple kitchen in 2007 with granite counters and stainless appliances. This was certainly one of the highlights that attracted the buyer to the home. All the bathrooms were also updated with beautiful granite counters & new tile as well.

The Average list price for the homes that closed in Hopkinton for April of 2009 was $431,685

The Average list price for the homes that closed in Hopkinton for April of 2010 was $539,156

The Average sale price for the homes that closed in Hopkinton for April of 2009 was $421,037

The Average sale price for the homes that closed in Hopkinton for April of 2010 was $519,953

The Average Market time for the homes that closed in Hopkinton in April of 2009 was 135 days.

The Average Market time for the homes that closed in Hopkinton April of 2010 was 108 days.
