16 Blueberry Lane Hopkinton MA Just Sold

Hopkinton MA Real Estate ~ Just SOLD 16 Blueberry Lane Hopkinton Massachusetts. Listed at $629,900 and sold at $615,000 by Bill Gassett RE/MAX Executive Realty. This home closed in the popular Blueberry neighborhood on November 30, 2011.

16 Blueberry Lane Hopkinton MA

It came as no surprise to me that this home at 16 Blueberry Lane in Hopkinton went under agreement so fast. Blueberry Lane is without a doubt one of the most popular neighborhood settings close to town center. When a home comes on the market it is usually scooped up pretty quickly! This home was not exception as it was on the market for less than two weeks

As you approached this home it was readily apparent that the owners took pride in their property. From the well manicured grounds to the recently painted exterior you knew walking in the door you would find much of the same.

The interior was no less appealing with a traditional layout that was well received by the majority of buyers. It included a large entry foyer flanked by a formal dining and living room. The dining room was appointed well with hardwood flooring, crown moldings and shadow box wainscoting. The formal living room/parlor also had hardwood floors and French doors to the spacious family room. The living room could easily be used as a 1st floor study if desired as the French doors created a nice sense of seperation. The first floor ceilings were 10 feet on the 1st floor which was a feature I really enjoyed.

Another exceptional feature was how well suited it was for entertaining guests. The entire back side of the home consisted of the kitchen, family room, screened porch, deck and patio. These areas were blended together very well a well combining both interior and exterior living.

The kitchen was very well done with nice Maple cabinetry, spacious center island, Silestone counters and both a wall oven and stove for those that enjoy cooking. There was certainly an abundance of cabinetry as well as a large eating area with a pair of sliders and glass door out to the deck, screened porch and patio area.

Also adjacent to the kitchen wss a terrific family room that had a brick fireplace, partial cathedral ceilings including two skylights, as well as numerous closets that the owner added during construction. This was a real comfortable space that flowed well. Lastly there was a laundry area and powder room directly off a hallway that leads to the garage

The second floor had five spacious bedrooms which is not easy to find at this price point. Anyone who has a large family would find this to be an excellent amenity. Of course the master was exceptional with cathedral ceilings, a his and her walk-in closet and a spacious bath that had cathedral ceilings and skylights.

All of the other bedrooms were good size and even the bedroom over the foyer was not all that small as they typically are. The 5th bedroom doubled as an office and featured cathedral ceilings and an attractive specialty window. All of the second floor carpeting was just replaced with brand new neutral carpets.

The backyard at 16 Blueberry offered plenty of space to have a ball game or just relax and enjoy the deck, patio, and screened porch. This Hopkinton home was heated With Hydro-air by Oil and had central air. Blueberry Lane enjoys public services with water and sewer. Lastly there was a storage shed to house all the lawn equipment and tools.

In total this home had 9 rooms, 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The total gross living area was approximately 3042 square feet. The lot is 1.12 acres. The taxes for 2011 are $10,026.

6 Third Road Hopkinton MA Just Sold

Hopkinton MA Real Estate ~ Just sold 6 Third Road Hopkinton Massachusetts at Lake Maspenock. Listed at $429,900 and sold at $425,000 by Bill Gassett RE/MAX Executive Realty on 12/12/2011.

This Hopkinton Massachusetts home located in the Lake Maspenock neighborhood at 6 Third Road was very well maintained and large part of why the seller made out well in the final sale price. As you approached this home you could immediately notice the terrific curb appeal with an oversized front porch.  your typical boxy colonial look was certainly not found here.

Inside the home you did not have a traditional layout either which added to the appeal. The last thing you would call this Hopkinton home is "cookie cutter". What made the property special was a warm blending of colonial and contemporary features in this Craftsman style home. The remodeled kitchen was just exceptioanl with an abundance of White cabinetry, Corian counters and a large center island with butcher block counters.

The kitchen opened up comfortably into an open dining area that was appointed with a bay window, built-in cabinetry and atrium doors to the side yard. There was also a breakfast area with plenty of room for stools that separated the kitchen from the family room.

The family room was very well done with beautiful hardwood floors that had a mahogany inlay and a traditional brick fireplace. There was an abundance of glass that flooded the home with loads of natural sunlight. The rest of the 1st floor included a mudroom area, full laundry room with wash sink and a new powder room with Cherry cabinetry and granite counter tops.

Another unquie feature for a home of this size was the fact it had both front and back staircases. The back staircase boasted a circular Oak staircase with western windows and seasonal water views. The 2nd floor was highlighted with several nooks and crannies, including a hallway with full floor-to-ceiling built-in bookcases and a master suite with vaulted ceilings, a 2nd brick fireplace and custom wood closets. The master also had a staircase to the 3rd floor which was perfect as an added storage area.

One of my favorite features was the new master bath which was just stunning! There was a custom tile shower along with a new Cherry vanity with Marble tops. This bath was something you would see in a much more expensive property!

The second bedroom also offered much charm and character with it's vaulted ceilings, wood closet, alcove area and skylights. The third and fourth bedrooms are both decent size and lastly there was an office with tons of windows that provided a terrific area for those that work out of their home.

Lastly there was a finished play room that added about 250 square feet to the gross living area.

In total there were 9 rooms, 4 bedrooms, and 2.5 baths. There was a 1 car attached garage. The lot is .22 acres. The home was positioned well to take advantage of the views of the lake when the leaves are off the trees.

16 Blueberry Lane Hopkinton MA

Real Estate Hopkinton MA ~ Just listed 16 Blueberry Lane Hopkinton Massachusetts. Listed at $629,900 by Bill Gassett RE/MAX Executive Realty. *** Update this home sold on November 30, 2011 for $615,000. ***

16 Blueberry Lane Hopkinton MA

It is not often that a home comes on the market in the popular Blueberry neighborhood near the center of Hopkinton. When a nice home enters the market it usually gets scooped up quick as this is one of the best locations in Hopkinton. This home at 16 Blueberry Lane will be no exception!

As you approach the home you will quickly notice how well the exterior has been maintained by the owners. The landscaping looks terrific and the home was painted less than 2 years ago.

Heading inside you will find a traditional layout that is well received by most buyers with a large entry foyer flanked by a formal dining and living room. The dining room is appointed well with hardwood floors, crown molding and shadow box wainscoting. The formal living room/parlor also has hardwood flooring and French doors to the family room. This could easily be used as a 1st floor study if desired. The ceilings are 10 feet on the 1st floor which really give you a sense of spaciousness.

What I really like about the home is how well suited it is for entertainment. The whole back of the home consists of the kitchen, family room, screened porch, deck and patio. It really affords a well blended use of space that combines both interior and exterior living.

The kitchen is very well done with striking Maple cabinetry, a good size center island, Silestone counters and both a wall oven and stove for those that like to cook. There is certainly an abundance of cabinetry and a large eating area with a pair of slider and glass door out to the deck and screened porch.

Also directly off the kitchen is a nice family room that has a brick fireplace, partial cathedral ceilings with two skylights, as well as numerous closets that the owner added during construction. This is a real comfortable space that flows well with the kitchen. Lastly there is a laundry area and powder room directly off a hallway that leads to the garage.

Heading to the second floor you will find five spacious bedrooms. For those with a large family this is the perfect home. It is not easy to find five bedrooms but this one has them. Of course the master is sensational with cathedral ceilings, a his and her walk-in closet and a spacious bath also with cathedral ceilings and skylights.

All of the other bedrooms are good size and even the bedroom over the foyer has great space. The 5th bedroom currently doubles as an office and features cathedral ceilings and an attractive specialty window. All of the second floor carpeting was just replaced with brand new neutral carpets!

The backyard at 16 Blueberry offers plenty of space to have a ball game as well as relax and enjoy the deck, patio, and screened porch. The home is heated With Hydro-air by Oil and has central air. There are public services with water and sewer. Lastly there is storage shed to house all the lawn equipment and tools.

In total there are 9 rooms, 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The total gross living area is approximately 3042 square feet. The lot is 1.12 acres. The taxes for 2011 are $10,026.

This is the kind of home that will appeal to the masses! Come take a look you won't be disappointed.

The new owners of this home got a heck of a house for themselves! There was not much to complain about as there was every possible amenity imaginable! This was the type of property that From the moment you set foot on the lot you could not help but being impressed!

Carriage Hill Road is near the center of town in a very popular neighborhood know as Hearthstone. The home was built by Craig Meyer, a builder with an sterling reputation of delivering a quality product.

As you walk up the brick paver walkway you will immediately notice the level of detail on the exterior of the home. As you start your tour of the inside you will find a breathtaking two story foyer with a dramatic split staircase that empties into the kitchen along with a beautiful feature window that lets in an abundance of natural sunlight.

The entry foyer is flanked both by a formal living and dining room that have graceful proportions. Both rooms are designed well with the quality appointments you would expect to find in a luxury home. The living room is the perfect area to sit and relax with it's sharp looking fireplace as well as detailed crown molding and French doors. The dining room was also very stately with rich wood work including box wainscoting.

The kitchen was enough to take anyone's breath away with it's exceptional custom Cherry cabinetry. The level of quality in the cabinetry matches what you would see in a fine furniture shop. For the cook in the family, a large center island services the kitchen well. There are dark green granite counter tops, as well as stainless appliances including a double oven and cook-top. Over in the eating area you will find plenty of space along with a set of doors out to the deck/patio area. An additional feature is a built-in desk area. Directly off the kitchen is a well planned mudroom and laundry area perfect as an informal entrance into the home. If you have kids this is the perfect area for them to take off their shoes without getting the rest of the home dirty.

One of my favorite rooms besides the kitchen has to be the cathedral family room. It was easy to see why this is the perfect area to relax watching television while still being able to see what is going on in the kitchen. There was a perfect flow from the entry to the family room and on into the kitchen. The family room had a terrific looking brick fireplace with handsome raised panel mantel.

Lastly the 1st floor had a study that was perfect for those that work out of the house on occasion. There were finely crafted built-in bookcases that flank the back wall along with French doors for privacy.

The 2nd floor of this Hopkinton home could not have a better set up for a large family. Not only are there five generous size bedrooms but two of the bedrooms had their own bath, and two had a Jack and Jill set up sharing a bath.

The master was the perfect size with an abundance of closet space, tray ceilings, and a lavish bath with large vanity area, separate tile shower, and whirlpool tub.

Finally because there was not enough stunning space in this home, the seller's finished the walk-out lower level in the same quality fashion as the 1st two floors! There was about 1840 square feet of awesome living area including a media room, game room, office, library alcove with built-ins, a kitchenette and full bath. This area would be a paradise for any kid!

Some of the other exceptional features, updates and amenities of this Hearthstone home included a new roof and gutters in 2010, a new security system in April 2011, new water heater in February 2011, sprinkler system, multiple driveway lamp posts, brick patio and walk, as well as the home being painted in 2009!

In total there are 15 rooms, 5 bedrooms, 4.5 baths and a 3 car attached garage. The lot is 1.08 acrea. The taxes are roughly $11,942.

Click the link to see a slide show video tour of 14 Carriage Hill Road Hopkinton MA as well as the ability to see an abundance of additional photography.
