This Milford Massachusetts home was one of my favorite sales so far this year  to date. I can really appreciate the hard work and sweat equity that was invested here. The sellers of the home did just a remarkable job of fixing the place up. In fact they improved the home in all the areas that really make a difference like the kitchen, baths and flooring! It was easy to see why the new owner fell in love with the property.

This home was owned by a building contractor who remodeled the entire interior. The were new walls, doors and trim! The white cabinet kitchen with large breakfast island and stainless steel appliances was just stunning and really captured your attention as soon as you walked in the door.

There were beautiful new hardwood floors throughout the 1st floor that give the home a sense of warmth and charm. The dining room was adjoined by a spacious living room with a bay window. A former unheated porch was finished and was turned into a sitting room. This room had a cathedral ceiling, new windows, and attractive beams.

The 2nd floor consisted of three bedrooms and a remodeled full bath. The master had ample closet space. Both of the baths in the home are new and are appointed with bead board wainscoting.

Other improvements included new stone front steps and brick walkway, new lighting and paint throughout. There is also a younger roof (2002) and vinyl siding.

In total there were 7 rooms, 3 bedroom and 1.5 baths. The lot is 7600 square feet. This Milford home was located just outside of the center of town.

In April of 2010 there were 10 homes that closed within the month for Milford Massachusetts. This is an decrease of 4 units, as there were 14 homes that closed in April of 2009.

The Average list price for the homes that closed in Milford for April of 2009 was $268,778

The Average list price for the homes that closed in Milford for April of 2010 was $314,270

The Average sale price for the homes that closed in Milford for April of 2009 was $255,357

The Average sale price for the homes that closed in Milford for April of 2010 was $293,950

The Average Market time for the homes that closed in Milford in April of 2009 was 131 days.
