Every now and then a property comes along that says WOW! You know right when you put the property on the market that there will be a lot of buyer interest. This home at 12 Bigelow Way, Grafton, happened to be such a property. The home was located at the end of a cul-de-sac with a convenient location right off of Milford Road near the Upton town line.

Located at the very end of a thirteen lot neighborhood, this Pulte home had all the traits today's home buyer's look for in a luxury residence. As you entered through the front entry you were able to immediately see the level of detail the home possessed. Both the dining room and living room flanked the entry way.

Both rooms were very well done and appointed with amenities you would expect to find including hardwood floors, crown moldings, wainscoting and decorative columns. The living room also featured a walk-out bay which is not only a nice design element but also flooded the room with loads of sunlight.

My favorite area of this magnificent home was the kitchen/family room which encompassed a large percentage of the back of the property. The family room was a dramatic two stories with a balcony overlook above, as well as a gas fireplace. Adding interest and a touch of pizazz to the room were decorative niches on both sides of the fireplace.

The kitchen was very nice with classic white cabinetry adorned with nickel accent handles, a center island, granite counter tops, a walk-in pantry and sliders to a two tier deck. There was certainly not a lack of natural light and the sliders provided an excellent view out to the backyard and beautiful gardens. The kitchen also featured marvelous sunsets during Winter and Spring.

For those that work out of the home there was a first floor study that also has a walk-out bay window. There was plenty of space for two desks and a wall that could accommodate a large book shelf area should you need it. The room was also set up for high speed cable, phone and fax. Lastly the first floor had access to a powder room off the kitchen and family room.

The second floor was no less inviting than the first including four spacious bedrooms. The master suite was fantastid with its large bedroom area that had cathedral ceilings and a bank of windows that bring nature right into the room. The closet and bath were both exceptional. There was a double vanity with solid tops, a soaking tub, separate shower and tile flooring. The commode was separated from the rest of the room for maximum privacy.

Even the secondary bedrooms had great closet space with two of them providing walk-ins along with California closets. A second floor laundry provided excellent convenience.

What really put the finishing touches on this home though wa the gorgeous walk-out lower level. The feeling in this area was no different than what you would find upstairs with full sunlight through windows and a slider.  A large game room as well as an over-sized 5th bedroom were provided in this space. If you have weekend guests or even need a home with space for an in-law this was perfect as there is a full bath. There was also ample space for storage with an unfinished room for that purpose.

Additional features of 12 Bigelow Way included economical gas heat that comes with a humidifier and filtration system built right in, central air, central vac, a sprinkler system, brick walk way, and town water and sewer. In total there were 11 rooms, 4-5 bedrooms, and 3.5 baths. The total gross living area including the lower level was about 3241 square feet. There was a two car attached garage and the lot was 1.1 acres.

There is no doubt this is a place you would be proud to call HOME!

The location and neighborhood were superb. Oakmost Farms is located right on the Upton town line and offers and excellent commuting location. The home was set perfectly at the end of a cul-de-sac.

As you walked into the foyer you were immediately captivated by the sense of spaciousness given the fact that the enty was two stories. The foyer was appointed with hardwood floors and staircase, as well as a beautiful feature window. The foyer was flanked by a front to back living/dining room combination.
