Valleywood Estates is a neighborhood on the West side of Hopkinton with approximately 51 homes. The neighborhood was developed in the early 1980's. The Streets in Valleywood include Ericka Drive, Valleywood Road, Tiffany Trail, Lynn Path, and Circle Drive.
Even though Valleywood is an older subdivision it is still one of Hopkinton's popular neighborhoods. Most of the homes that were built and Valleywood were constructed by Ron Nation of 20th Century Homes. Ron has built many homes in Hopkinton and is presently building in Springwood Estates.
The price range of the homes located in Valleywood as of October 2009 is about the mid $400's to the low $600's depending on the home and it's various features.
One of the reasons Valleywood Estates has remained popular is the fact that the floor plans in these homes work well on a day to day basis. There is one particular model where the family room is over the garage that is particularly sought after.
The kitchens and family rooms in these Valleywood homes are both very large. Given the fact that these are the rooms most people use and enjoy the most, it is easy to see why this subdivision has remained attractive.
All of these Valleywood family rooms come with fireplaces and the vast majority of them have skylights and large palladium style feature windows. The kitchens extend almost the entire length of the back of the home! Most of the homes have four decent size bedrooms and 2.5 baths.
The lots in Vallewood are around 1.5 acres and are heavily wooded with mature landscape.
Valleywood is located only a few miles away from two Hopkinton lakes including Lake Maspenock for fishing, boating, and jet skiiing, as well as Lake Whitehall. The location is excellent for commuting as the 495 exits are only a mile away and the Mass Pike is the 1st exit.
There is a slight amount of traffic noise in the back end of the subdivision from 495 but nothing significant.
I have sold many homes in Valleywood over the years. It has always been a neighborhood that people enjoy living in.
