Pam - Very good question. The value of most of the units in The Village at Highland Park would range between $350,000 - $450,000. I added this information to the post:)

Jeff - The condo fee here at the Highland Park condo's is also high for our area as well. There are only 26 units which is smaller than most neighborhoods. The area is really beautiful with extensive landscape.

Wow, at first glance I thought these pictures were of an unfinished basement, then I looked a little closer and read your summary and it was the actual house!

Unfortunately, I have been through this experience with a client of mine.

I wonder if the current condition will create lending or insurance complications?

Bill -- these look like they would be great for the buyer that want to add their own touch!  Sometimes low condo fees are not that great because the reserves are not being built up.  It looks like this association may be planning ahead and insuring against special assessments
