Thanks everyone for all your comments on my sale at Williamsburg Court in Shrewsbury. As you are all well aware a short sale transaction is a difficult one to deal with from all sides. The seller was able to walk away and not have to sign a note. I have been real fortunate in that in 95% of the short sales I have done the seller has had no obligation for repayment of any debt.
Congrats on the successful short sale closing. They are frustrating and time-consuming transactions. That's for sure!

Pam - It depends mostly on the lender but I would say on average it is around 4 months unless of course you are working with BOA and then all bets are off.
