The Average list price for the homes that closed in Mendon for March of 2010 was $372,831

The Average sale price for the homes that closed in Mendon for March of 2009 was $242,500

The Average sale price for the homes that closed in Mendon for March of 2010 was $365,750

The Average Market time for the homes that closed in Mendon for March of 2009 was 169 days.

The Average Market time for the homes that closed in Mendon for March of 2010 was 279 days.

The average sales price of homes also continued downward. There was however, a pretty substantial drop in the average days on the market for a home on the market in Mendon. This is a positive sign going forward. Mendon remains a good town for those seeking a moderately inexpensive home just outside of the more expensive Metrowest area.

Comparing 2009 vs. 2010 closings for Mendon look  pretty impressive, yet I was surprised to see the days on the market was significantly longer.

Lynda you are looking at a small sample size in one month. There were 4 homes sold that happen to have been on the market a long time.
