TheFishGuy/Aquascaping & Ponds ~ Framingham MA Business Profile

TheFishGuyis a full service aquatic company located in Framingham Massachusetts. They design, build, maintain, and service any size pond or aquarium. They will do as much or as little as the customer wants. Some of their customers like to get their own fish and do some of the maintenance themselves, but call them in to do periodic service to check on their progress. Below is a sample of a home that was purchased that had a neglected pond in the back yard. There were about 100 fish living in the pond. The pond had been in this state for around twelve years.  TheFishGuys came in and restored in to a beautiful fish pond that anyone would enjoy! The "after" shot shows the difference between cleaning out the pond, pruning the surrounding plants, weeding around the pond, and the addition of a small waterfall and pond lighting.

         Dramatic    Difference!

While some customers enjoy working on their pond, others want them to do absolutely everything so they can sit back and just enjoy their new environments. Each summer TheFishGuys do many jobs for people who had recently bought homes and inherited ponds. The choice of filling in the ponds or fixing them up to enjoy them is usually an easy decision. To invite an aquatic environment into your life is not only eye appealing, but also very relaxing. The fish actually learn to recognize you and interact with you. As Josh Wolfson, a company executive says, "having Koi come and eat out of your hand is amazing".

       Just   Gorgeous!

The next level of the pond is to plant it with hardy water species that will winter over, and light the pond making it a spectacular water feature at night. Some of the services The Fish Guy provides are spring clean outs, monthly maintenance, winter closings, purchase and planting of water plants, supply of fish, and complete revamps on existing neglected ponds.

The other end of TheFishGuys business is indoor aquariums. Whether it be a freshwater-planted aquarium or a full-blown saltwater reef aquarium, they are all amazing. Their customer base ranges from the smallest of tanks to 300 or 400 gallon aquariums. They install, maintain, service, as well as supply any fish or products needed. The aquarium is usually the last thing thought about during the buying and selling of a home. As you can see adding an aquatic fish tank such as this can really add another nice detail to your home. This becomes a great conversational piece when entertaining or having a party.

They offer the removal of aquariums, packing up of fish for transport, and re-install of system to the new house. The Fish Guy's geographic area is most of Massachusetts, but they have gone to Connecticut and New Hampshire on occasion. They take the added stress of what to do on your moving day out of the equation so you won't have to. They are fully insured and all of TheFishGuy's employees are neat, courteous, and punctual.

An additional service they provide is fish sitting. While you go away there is no need to worry if your investment and pets you have devoted so much time to are safe. We can set up a schedule to check on the fish, feed them, and clean the aquarium or anything else needed to keep your fish safe and happy.

TheFishGuy started by taking a hobby and a passion and realizing that sharing this passion allowed others to develop the same love of fish. With over 14 years of experience your fish are in good hands with TheFishGuys!

Bill, my husband would LOVE this place! We've had aquariums ever since we've been married (at least 100 years!) and we have a 75 gal. one now. Our fish are totally spoiled.

Linda - I think it is a great your husband has that interest! I am always interested in seeing people fish especially when they have a cool tank. I love the look of the indoor aquarium that this company did in the bottom picture where it is incorporated into the ledge with the column.

Great stuff Fish guy....I'm friends with Greg Whitstock the owner of Aqua Land in saint Charles, Illinois.  We have a 1 acre pond that he is going to dredge out and stock with some classy local fish so that me, my wife and 5 kids can have a back yard haven.  Great post brother.

Bill-  I love the before and after shots... looks like a quality company!  There's just something about water... whether it's inside an aquarium or outside in a pond or waterfall that really enhances a property.  It's an important feature.

BILL: This is a great localism post! I wish that they serviced Long Island.  Their work looks great.  I hope to someday have a large indoor aquarium, but I started to give up on the idea when I had a small tank and we had touble keeping the fish alive.  If I had someone to come in and maintain it, this would be something to look at in the future.
