Besides the excellent curb appeal of the exterior, the interior of the home is loaded with outstanding craftsmanship. With 4142 square feet of above grade space, the property offered one of the best values in the Hopkinton Real Estate market. The buyer who purchased this home was a transferred and after looking at numerous properties could see the inherent value.
As you approached the front entry from the driveway, a brick paver walk way meandered gracefully to the front entry where you were greeted by a large front porch. Upon entering the home you were immediately impressed by the attention to detail with the gorgeous wood staircase that grace the two story foyer. The crown moldings, wainscoting and beautiful hardwood floors also stood out as exceptional features.
Flanking each side of the foyer was the formal living and dining rooms that both featured high ceilings, hardwood floors and multi piece crown moldings. The living room was also appointed with a large walk-out bay window that overlooked the front yard as well as French doors that separated the "Keeping room".
Once you were in the back of the home where the informal areas were located is really where this place said WOW! The kitchen was just spectacular and will make anyone who likes to cook envious when they visit. There were beautiful cream Maple cabinets adorned with sharp looking granite counters, a large center island and high end stainless steel appliances. There was both a wall oven and cook top for the Chef in the family. Glass doors also added additional appeal.
The eating area of the kitchen in this Hopkinton home was more like it's own room. It could easily accommodate the largest of tables and featured tons of glass. There was certainly plenty of room for the kids to have a ball game on the grass and have fun in the playing in the woods. Echo Lake was also visible when the leaves come down in the Winter months creating a nice back drop!
Additional features included hydro-air heat with central air, a security system, brick walk-way, terrific landscaping, and town water and sewer.
