If you have not heard of it, Blogburst is a syndication channel for some of the best news sources in the country.
If you would like some great online exposure I would suggest you try to get your blog approved at their site. My understanding is that it is not easy and they will not just add every site that applies for entry.
Some of the featured distribution channels for Blogburst are Reuters, USA Today, Gannett, Mcgraw-Hill, Chicago Sun Times, and Fox News.
I had not visited the site in a while and did not realize that a few of my recent posts were featured on some of the various news outlets.
I had done a post here at Active Rain a few weeks ago that was featured titled Federal Funds Rate drop V.S 30 Year Fixed Rate Mortgages. The article talked about how the general public and even many Realtors mistakenly assume that when the Fed drops the Federal Funds Rate, that there will be a corresponding drop in 30 year fixed rate mortgages as well.
What I didn't realize is that Reuters and The Chicago Sun Times also thought this was a news worthy post. Click the links and you will see the post at these sites.
I had also done a post in regards to one of the proposed stimulus packages designed to increase Real Estate activity across the country. This post was titled Home Buyer Tax Credits ~ A Stimulus Package that could Actually Work! You can see this post at Reuters as well.
Another post that was featured is how I incorporate the RealBird marketing platform into my online marketing efforts for the Real Estate and homes I am selling. This RealBird post was picked up by the Small Business Resource Center of Neilsen. Unfortunately, I noticed that part of my post showing the RealBird map widget did not get transfered.
The Blogburst site is just another way to get your message out to a larger audience!!

That must be a lot of exposure to get featured with Reuters, Chicago Times, and Neilsen Through Blogburst. Have you received any business through blgburst?
Bill, that is awesome!! Can I say I featured it first - lol :)
Bill, I didn't see your article, but I'll check it out. What great information to provide for potential buyers. They all assume that the drop will be reflected in 30 year loans. ;-) Congrats!
Bill,
Some buyers are asking me about a tax break on foreclosure home purchases. Do you know anything?
Sandra Thanks I know you were one of the people to feature it!
Linda - You are too funny. Hey I would give it another shot, you never know.
Virginia - Thanks not sure about being an expert but at least a little bit knowledgable :)
Teri - It is funny how there is such a misunderstanding when it comes to the fed funds rate and the 30 year fixed rate mortgage. There should be more information about this on tv. More people would have a handle on how things work if there was more mentioned about it on the news.

As you know I have written on this a few times...mine have been syndicated since July of 2007...I have some currently featured on both Reuters and Chicago Sun Times....I guess Blogburst is very selective as to who they choose. I love it!

Top 10 Publishers During Last 7 Days for Neal"The Real Deal"Bloom
Bill,
I'm sure you love it too...we seem to be the few that Blogburst let join...I'm surprised because there are some other really talented bloggers that are worthy.
Pam glad you found it to be useful. Once you have done some more work with you blog give it a shot :)
Kent thanks my friend!
Bill, that is very exciting.... Congrats!!!
I gave it a shot today (actually I had misplaced your blog and spent last evening looking for it - got it bookmarked now!!!)
I was not sure what category to put mine under so I went with business (agree about being surprised at no Real Estate section) Got a reply back within a few minutes that it was not accepted. I'll try again in a bit as I have only had the blog a couple of months. It could be it is not focused enough. Everything in this area revolves around Lake Powell - Real Estate included. Would appreciate it if you had time to check it out and drop me back some feedback http://www.lakepowellrealty.net
I think it is cool that places like bloghurst exist and that the everyday perspectives can get picked up and published. My heavens what a different world than just five years ago! Congrats!!
Wow! Very impressive stuff! Good for you Bill. Nice to see you getting such positive exposure. Keep up the good work!
It's a Good Life!

Linda - My 1st time hitting the delete button in a while :)
