Massachusetts Real Estate

The Preserve Condo's Hopkinton Massachusetts

The Preserve Hopkinton MassachusettsThe Preserve is the only gated community in Hopkinton Massachusetts. The Street leading into the Preserve is Forest Lane. There are 40 townhomes in this neighborhood located directly across from the Hopkinton State Park on Rte 85. The prices in The Preserve generally range from the low $300's up to the $400k price point as of September 2009.

The Preserve is one of the better condo values in Hopkinton. At The Preserve you are able to get a one car attached garage and a decent amount of living space with some nice amenities. The square footage of the townhomes runs from around 1650 to 1800 exclusive of any finished basement space.

                                                                                                                                                             The Preserve Hopkinton Massachusetts

The condo fees in this neighborhood range from around $437-$496 per month. This neighborhood was built in the late 1980's.

These units have a 1 car garage. The interiors are spacious and well designed. There is an abundance of nature light in the kitchens in these condos, especially in the end units which have a nice walk-out bay eating area. The 1st floors offer an open floor plan including a formal dining room and a fireplace family room with a real brick masonary fireplace. There are harwood floors and crown moldings in most of the homes.

The bedrooms in the Preserve are also quite spacious and can easily accomodate large furniture. The master suite usually has a cathedral ceiling which creates a nice sense of space.

The Preserve has an excellent commuting location as it is close to Rte 9 and the Mass Pike. The MBTA is also just a 1/2 mile down the road in Southboro for those who like using the train to get to Boston.

If The Preserve is a bit out of your price range you may want to check out the Indianbrook townhomes which are priced in the mid to upper 200's. If you can afford a town home that is slightly more expensive and has a few more features and amenities you may want to look at The Village at Highland Park.

Here is a brief look at some other the other Hopkinton Massachusetts Condos.

Hi Bill...Looks like a nice complex to live..I bet these townhouses do not stay on the market long.

Cheers, thanks for sharing a little history too on the Preserve Townhouse Gated Community.

Hi Bill,

The Preserve sounds like a really nice place, pretty upscale condo living. Great job!

Bill, what a great post; however, I can't get over the pricing and the HOA fees....maybe I ought to be working in real estate in your area? ;-)

Fred - Thanks for commenting on my post about The Preserve in Hopkinton.

Pat - If you have a buyer looking for a condo in Hopkinton the units at the Preserve are well constructed.

Lynda - Thanks. The Preserve does offer good condo living.

Teri - I agree the condo fees out here in Mass are rather steep. Don't forget we have all that plowing that you guys out in Arizona don't have to contend with.

Those fees sound like Sarasota fees many years ago!  I've never lived where you have to consider plowing fees, but I'm from Hawaii so it's hard to shock me with prices.

Susie - The condo fees up here is some of the more upscale townhomes are fairly steep. Many of the developments are down on a smaller scale so the fees are spread out to fewer people.

Don - Thanks for your comments on The Preserve.
