Brook Hollow Estates in Milford Massachusetts consists of 14 homes located on two cul-de-sacs. The Brook Hollow neighborhood is located off of Briar Drive in the older section of Tanglewood.
Tanglewood has been a popular location in Milford near the Hopkinton line for many years. Homes traditionally in this area have always sold really well.
The Streets in the Tanglewood area include Tanglewood Road, Briar Drive, WoodHill Road, Ragged Hill Road, Tina Road, and Kalen Circle.
The Brook Hollow Estates section of this neighborhood is much younger than the rest of the development. The streets in Brook Hollow Estates consist of Brook Hollow Road and Stub Toe Lane.
Most of the homes were built between 2002 and 2005. There is one new home left to be sold in this Milford neighborhood. As of October 2008 the value of the bulk of the homes would be in the 500's. A few of the homes would reach into the 600's. 
The Brook Hollow Estates area is one of the best luxury home neighborhoods in Milford. The homes range in size from around 2700 square feet and go to around 4000 square feet. Most of the homes average around 3000-3300 square feet.
The typical home in this neighborhood has four bedrooms, 2.5-3.5 bathrooms, and a two car garage. The lots are all over an acre with some of them over two acres.
The housing styles do vary so it would not be considered your typical cookie cutter neighborhood. There were a few different builders who constructed new homes in this area.
One of the best features of this neighborhood is it's close proximity to major routes for commuting. The 495 exits in Hopkinton are located only about 3-4 miles away.
The Mass Pike is the 1st exit north off of 495. It is about 35 to 40 minutes to get to Boston. If you work at EMC or one of the other high tech companies along South Street in Hopkinton, this is a dream location.
For recreational activities such as boating and fishing, Lake Maspenock aka North Pond in Hopkinton is just down the Street.
The one feature of Brook Hollow Estates that I don't particularly care for is that the electrical lines are not located underground. Overhead electrical lines take away from the "feel" of any neighborhood. Other than this there is not much to complain about.
Similiar homes in most of the adjoining towns to the North and East of Milford would be more expensive. Brook Hollow Estates allows those looking for a spacious newer home with a great commuting location to buy at a more affordable price point.

More beautiful homes in Metrowest MA, you've sure got the area covered! Seeing so many with such traditional architecture is so different from our all stucco places in SoCal. I just love the looks of these.
Bill- the homes here are so stately and magnificent. It must make a lovely place.We have nothing like it in the Salem area at all. The Northwest has a style all its own...we have great homes they are just different
Brook Hollow Estates Milford Massachusetts looks like a perfect location for families that have to commute. I think the overhead lines are not a big detriment when everything else works. I like the way you point that out, however. Looks like some lovely homes as well.
